Hey guys, I just joined the forum yesterday after I have been researching the 135is for a little while now. I was an e46 m3 owner until last month when I hit a pothole on the interstate and my tire rod broke. Two 360's and a tree later I was in the market for a new car and decided on an IS.
There seems to be much debate over when the IS production will end so let me set the record straight.
It hasn't.
I work at a BMW dealership and as of yesterday there were 3 more allocations for 135is'. Luckily, my dealership was able to snag one of these allocations for me and I will be putting in my order as soon as I can decide on a color (open for suggestions
). I am also very tempted to hold on to the allocation until I know it's the last one but will probably submit it tomorrow as I can't wait to have it!
I will be glad to let everyone know when production stops on these cars. If only I could also see how many there were on US soil!
