Only joking mate. In all seriousness you won't see much of a difference in your 0-60 run once PPK is installed. Any extra power you get from the map change will be lost in wheel spin once you launch.
After having my N55 flashed, LC has become a waist of time IMO. The revs set by the LC (3,500rpm) are just to high and unlike my old DSG box you can't reduce them at all. If you could drop them down to say 2,000 - 2,500rpm, I think it would still be a useful tool.
It was even worse when I tried it on a 1/4 mile drag strip. It either lit up the wheels or induced the stability control to come in and cut all the power in 1st
Needless to say, I don't think i'll be running the car down the 1/4 mile too many times, unlike I use to in all my other cars..
Note that BMW does claim a 0.2 s improvement with PPK.
I didn't do this because I doubt BMW. I did it to have a baseline, so that I can tell if (or when) I lose the flash for whatever reason.
But your wheel spin comment is noted. I did observe that. Will try again when the weather warms up and I get better traction.
