If you aren't doing track days etc then there is no point having a 1M, For less a 335i or M3 is a way better option.

Interesting - both of us 135i and 1M owners and actually I don't agree at all. It is very tight and responsive that to me makes it a better DD. Without the run flats the 1M rides better, with better body control that encourage better driving. Sure you are not comparing the 135i with your lowered 1m?
. The only thing 1M was not as good is the noise - more road noise and the dreaded drone at 110km in 6th.
Many love taking the 1M to the backroads too where it shines.
You don't need a track at all.
