This particular tape holds up to 5lbs. per every 4 inches so it was overkill but piece of mind for me. The CF spoiler didn't even weigh in a 1.5 lbs if I remember correctly, it was very light weight.

Remember, the force air puts on it at say 100 mph is much much more than 1.5lbs
