DIY: Instrument cluster hood swap
Swapped my 2008 125i hood for 1M alcantara-lined one
straight forward swap
need a small screw driver and a pair of hex heads - 10 and 15
first undo the two small screws at the top of the instrument cluster
slowly wiggle the instrument cluster out exposing the two pairs of larger screws holding the hood down
remove the screws taking care not to lose them in the dash
install in reverse
