No, I'm saying the old M1 deserves to be respected as the only supercar BMW ever built. Hence the name M1 shouldn't be used unless BMW decides to bring their second supercar. If it wasn't for the old M1, I'd be all for the name M1.
Besides, nobody doubts that the Z4M is a true M, so I don't see any such connotation with the name 1M.
