No way!!! I was thinking that the salesman was just making that up that you were coming back with your wife that afternoon. Crazy! I'm a reallllly bad negotiator so I didn't them down much... Paid $30,500. Plus I get an additional $750 towards my financed amount from graduating college within the past 6 months.
All in all though, I am extremely happy with the car and I paid what I thought it was worth. Glad you still ended up finding a car!
