Glad to see that that worked out for you, but that's minimal rubbing. People scuff up their tires worse on curbs and they are still fine. Having rubbed my tires on my fenders before, I can say that that's nothing to worry about really. Keep in mind that during driving, tires do flex a little bit, so if the sidewall of the tire is close to the strut, there's always the chance it could make contact very slightly.
