I never did any valve adjustments on my 325e, so no beer for me. Bummer.
Unfortunately I only had the car for 8 months, but it was a glorious 8 months. 22K miles and I loved every one of them. I rue the day that I sold that car.
The 123d seems like a modern day interpretation of the 325e:
121 HP & 170 ft-lbs on the 325e vs 200 HP & 300 ft-lbs for the 123d. So they are both torque biased engines. :roundel:
