Does it make sense to have 255 rubber on a 128i?

I'm asking because the Toyobaru BRZ/FRS is such a success with its skinny tires and my 128i needs a new set.

I'm wondering if there is value in 255 rear rubber on a 128i vs 135i which has so much more torque.

Dont get me wrong fat tires will look great from the back at the cost of fuel efficiency. Will it make the 128i less toss-able?

Am i better off seeking a Square set up ? or to keep it at stock 18 inch tire sizes

( My car may is unlikely to see a track event, i prefer the country roads with their slight twists and hills. Im considering RE11, PSS, Conti DW)
