I got my LCI Blackline tails on Friday. Put them in tonight and WOW are they nice. Plug and play on my car, easy to install.
I would say they are as tinted as a new VW tail light. I also have a 2011 GTI and it's lenses are almost the same style of smoked/red. So if anyone want's to know what the color looks like they can have a look at a current VW.
Took about 5-6 days to ship as it said on the web site. I got an email from FedEx last Tuesday asking me to provide a document for customs explaining why they didn't meet DOT specs. I waited a couple days and before I could complete the form they tail lights showed up at my house.
