The turbo is quick if you have an open road to rev it out, but around town the diesel is aftually faster. I had some in gear stats to back what I am saying too but I dont know where it is now. The diesel is also more refined which surprised the crap out of me.
Btw I'm a diesel hater after owning a x3 30d for a short time. I sold it because neither my wife nor I could handle the lag in throttle response. But the Macan was completely different! I also spent a whole day test driving all three, so it wasn't a around the block job.
