I haven't gone to drags, but I launch pretty aggressively at autocross, usually with moderate initial wheelspin, and have NEVER experienced wheel hop in this car.
What are you using for shocks in the rear? If you have already tightened up the subframe, you may need more dampening. Poly bushings may also help, but will drastically increase NVH.
