Yes, I have looked at the Arc-8 wheels, and they're sort of a Plan B in terms of my aesthetic preference--I agree with what you've written.
You also raise a point that others may be able to give me some guidance on: if I went with 245 tires in back, would there be any noticeable performance penalty--if this is minimal, I'd be willing to trade it for assurance that there would be no rubbing on V710 wheels.
