I was also playing with this idea but finally dropped it thinking that if I want a better "inhaling" capacity I should change the intake as a whole with something that users have good experiences. Just the filter change sounded like risking the engine breathing maybe less filtered air with almost no gains. I am not interested with a dramatic sound change or big power gain etc. I am yet to hear anything wrong about the afe sealed intake with dry filter, so trying to get one now. My aim is basically to get better throttle response and complement my exhaust mode.
