This picture looks so familiar to me, lol. Actually mine looked a lot worse that this. Fractured ceramic pistons with melted dust boots after using HT-10 pads with no cooling mods. I did rebuiled my front calipers with stoptech aluminum pistons, added some cooling mods with great success. Now i am going to rebuild rear calipers too after two track seasons. Rear calipers dont get as hot as front but i see two dust boots melted partially and one ceramic piston damaged.
I would recommend DTC-70/60 pads instead of HT-10. Use castrol racing brake fluid, ti-shims, splush shieds mod, if you can. I have this set up with no issues on the track and i do drive very hard.
I just received RB two piece front rotos, they are about 5 pounds lighter than stock,and a little thicker. Build quality looks great and i think this mod will make this set up even better
