I agree unless you can find the five quart at Walmart for $22. It's hard to beat $4.40/qt. Even if you just switch to 1 qt containers at Walmart, the cost is over $5/qt and the BMW oil option looks pretty good.

I looked at Tischer and United and couldn't decide which had the better deal so I just placed this order with United. Theirs was $47 without shipping, Tischer is $62 with. I am pretty close to United so I decided to take the chance it is less than $15 shipping. Even at $47, figuring $10 for the filter would come out to over $5/qt - not unreasonable but not cheaper than the 5 qt of Mobil 1 at Walmart. But it's good to stay with OEM products when the cost is similar and I didn't find the 0-40W Mobil 1 my last several visits to Walmart.
