I second that... In my Blue Beast ( secret) I run only Royal Purple 10w-40.
At $10/ quart it's not cheap, but somethings are worth the money. For regular / spirited driving, dealer oil should not be a big issue though... if you track / drive hard like I do, "good enough" just isn't good enough ( and from personal experience Mobil 1 supersynth not what it's cracked up to be...)
