as a lawyer part of me wonders if a products liability or negligence claim properly lays against BMW for implementing a design which so easy allows for the car to be stolen. (This is in reference to the OP's post, not your comment Rob)

Rob that's insane. I can't believe that keys from two separate cars and two separate models could start each other.
