Wait I’m a little confused here. So you shimmed the core forward a little bit, ostensibly to remove any potential for debris or god forbid the tire somehow making serious contact with it. Makes sense.

But then you put the cover back on? Wasn’t the cover what you were rubbing against in the first place? I must be thinking about this wrong. Interested in your solution, as on full lock my 225 makes some contact with the oil cooler cover. It’s soft plastic and has been like this for over half a year, so not too worried. But would like to fix it if feasible.
