Probably not, all of the nitpicks of my car seem to have been fixed. The ahl's failed twice and have been fixed since. But they failed back to back which makes me think that the first tech didn't really fix the problem.
My 3rd brake light has been creaking, especially after the last wash. And the car has been idling a little funky as of late. <- probably time to look into HPFP #4
I've had the car since last summer and I can say that other than the mixed bag I mentioned above, the car has been clean so I am not worried about much. There is one thing I am curious about though, I have heard that the VANOS system is notorious for failing depending on the model of the bimmer. Is this under (powertrain) warranty or will I have to replace it myself down the road?
I may ask my dealership to clean out any of the infamous carbon buildup and see whether or not BMW denies it.
