I think with ANY flash tune... you will need to read the new operating system level of the SW and then mod those files.

In other words... after having your car's DME software updated you would need to scan that and send it into Cobb (or who ever) and mod those files before you can load a new SW flash onto your car's DME.

I do not think you can have your car's SW updated (at the dealer) and then when your back home reload the old Cobb SW flash level(via the Cobb). Once you update your SW there is no going back to the old level. I think thats why you must always upload to Cobb and then download the new mod's file.

Make sense? IF I am wrong, please someone feel free to correct me. I don't have a Cobb, just a German flash tune.
