Not sure but it's definitely something to bring back to the dealer to fix.
The rattle has only happened twice to me so it's not something I worry about either. I've read where someone says it happens when you accidentaly touch the lock ribs and the handle at the same time. I wasn't paying enough attention the two times it happened to notice.
