Well it's not like they had much real proof of how fast they were actually going from that video, it's not like you see the speedometer or the tachometer in the video... I suspect if they had gotten a lawyer they could have beaten the charge (not a good precedent of getting some kind of speeding fine just from a video on youtube if you ask me), but that would have probably cost them more than $150.

Also quite disturbing that they BOTH got fined while obviously one (taking the video) was just a passenger. Would they be able claim that as a precedent for giving a speeding fine to all the people in a speeding car?
