Who has replaced tyres on the stock rims?

I've put the stock rims back on with my old Dunlops (semi-slicks on the black rims are too noisy for the street) and after a skid pan last friday they are pretty much shot.

I have two options:

1. Put the oem run flat tyres back on (have these in the garage).

2. Get some other tyres with better comfort / grip.

I was thinking of going for 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear. Ideally would like a directional design so I can swap from side to side. I was thinking Bridgestone Adrenalin but they aren't directional. I'm even tempted to go for the Maxxis Victra i-PRO after the recent Motor tyre test.

Can anyone who has changed tyres please comment using template below?

- Brand / Variant of tyre
- Front tyre size
- Reat tyre size
- Cost fitted
- Impressions regarding noise, comfort, grip etc

Thanks!
