just my opinion and imput but the OP one looks more simple basic bolt on, the sketch(no offense to drawer) looks more exaggerated and goes beyond the simple factor. and they also look like larger more extensive pieces.
i think the point is to make simple add ons, if you go for more aggressive flares you might as well do a 1m front end or the ER front end.
