I do an 84 mile commute with my ActiveE without a problem. I can charge at work if needed, but don't always do so because it's not necessary unless I'm going to be going to other places later in the day before I go home.. I'm averaging about 97 miles per charge now but can get it up to 110-115 if I need to just by driving slower and more efficiently.
I have over 11,000 miles on it and have had it 4 months and 2 days. (Picked it up January 13th) I'm on pace for 34-35k per year so yeah, it can deal with a lot of driving, just not long trips between plugging in.
