Well I do have some money put away for retirement, I don't have kids yet but when I do I'll have at least 18 years to plan for their college. The way I see it is you only live once and you may as well enjoy it the best you can. Much like Elsabor once this round of stuff is on the car thats about it other than maintenance stuff and replacing parts from general wear and tare.
