The U-boat is at their main museum(Technik) downtown Muenchen - just one stop from Marien Platz. A few years ago they seperated the car stuff from the Technik Museum.

I think the only other place on earth with a real WWII U-boat is in Chicago and that one STILL RUNS!!!! The one in the Deutsches Museum has been de-motor'd - I think terms of the WWII surrender.

I am not sure now about what MAN means, now. A friend of mine in the "know" always told me that it was named after those three cities. Now I am not so sure! lol I have been to the MAN museum in Augsburg and they make sooo much more than just trucks. Like the first printing presses (MAN press predates the famous Heidelberg press) in europe/Germany.
