Performance Engine Kit update
I spoke to BMW HQ in Aus yesterday and they confirmed (via correspondence with Germany HQ) that the kit is due here 3Q. Specs and pricing should be know by dealerships over the next 2 weeks. If your dealer play dumbs or is just uninformed then contact bmw HQ is Aus and they will provide the hot oil. I think this kit could be great for those that dont want to fack around with 3rd party mods and only want a reasonable lift in HP and torque (they say 240kw and 450Nn for Auto (430 for self-shifter). I susect this will get the manual and auto both running 0-100 in around 5.1 to 5.2, which is pretty damn good in anybody's terms as a day to day runner that can still fit the kids in the back ...
