Alignment is fine, wear is even across both tyres and the fronts have plenty of tread left. I thinks its a case where I just might have to drive with more care for the tyres... (not used to the rears going so quickly - coming from many AWD's previously!)

The car has aftermarket wheels and the mechanic suggested going back to OE setup as the rear end can 'bounce' around over bumps etc on the road. I think this may be due to softer/non RFT tyres.

Can also get a good deal on some Yoko Advan V105, reasonably new tyre - all reports on these seem positive.
