Actually, when I first got the rears mounted I thought there was some rubbing...it looked like marks were being left on the tire caused by that little tab where the fender meet the bumper. I needed to have an alignment done to correct a different issue (feathering in the front tires) and found out that my alignment was out of spec for all four wheels. The rears didn't have enough camber and after they adjusted the alignment into spec the rubbing stopped. So I guess if your alignment is good you shouldn't have any issues without spacers. You might rub with 10-12mm spacers but 5mm should be fine.
I can now confirm that 255 PSS in the front do not rub with the revised liner. It is very close though.
