Definitely agree with Alipine, I think the toughest competition is going to be the Cayman. But the M1 should be much faster in terms if acceleration, probably won't mimic the delicate balance of that gorgeous mid-engined beauty!
What sells it for me is the implied exclusivity and practicality. Not to mention, having always dreamt of a M3, this seems like a great entry to The Kingdom of M!
