This isn't true. The DME has to be removed every time to change tunes.

The boost is a solid 15psi on 93. I don't have a way to log right now. I'll figure something out and make a thread about it.
My tuner who is southern bm in melbourne is an ESS supplier and they told me it can be flashed via OBD after removed the first time.
