But when I look up a euro M3 I see they list my alloy 17" spare wheel. ? Maybe they want you to rotate one of the rear wheels forward when you have a front flat on a M3 ???

I think a better solution is to order a X5 or e60 spare tire that is an 18" but a steel wheel. I would ask Dan@United for which spare wheel he recommends.

This is the e60 kit I was thinking about. But I do not see the wheel size listed. ?

Why do BMW recommend the 17" if it doesn't fit (there already being an 18" spacesaver in production)?

It would be really nice if someone has a 1M and the 17" alloy to find out for sure if it fits front and rear.

I'm not sure the rear wheels would actually fit on the front without rubbing issues in an emergency (if the alloy 17" was fitted to the rear, and the rear wheel temporarily fitted to the front)
