I installed mine yesterday without any spacers and I have an N55...It fits, but it does touch the engine cover. I took the engine cover off to give it a small gap between the strut bar and the engine.
Also, I have the BMS intake so I do not know if it fits with the stock airbox, but my guess is it will also be slightly touching the airbox as well.
