I have a set of 262 17" 7.0f & 7.5r wheels sitting in my garage. I currently have 261 style with 225/40+255/35 rubber. I was thinking of replacing the 18s with the 17s to see if it improves my 1/4 mile times. I was looking at putting on some toyo r888s but I am not sure if there will be any benefit.

The stock sizes are 225/45R17 but I was thinking of 235/45R17 or would 235/40R17 be better? Any advice appreciated.
