New brake pads and sensor, plz help..
Please can somebody help me, I've got a 2008 135i and the rear brake wear message has come on the i-drive as well as the warning light on my dash.
Instead of throwing money at the dealer, I'm thinking of changing them myself if I'm correct they are £70 for 4 OEM rear pads.
Just a couple of questions:
1) I've heard that I'm best off replacing the sensor cable, so is it easy to replace the cable?
2) Will I be able to reset the message and warning light via the 'BC service due lights' trick?
And instead of OEM is there a better pad that i can buy and just do a straight swap without changing anything else?
