It's not my car, but I'm sure any time you apply any film to paint like that, it's a semi-permanent/permanent process. The adhesive might be able to be removed within a year, but it would require a long process of cleaning, adhesive removal, more cleaning, followed by rubbing compound, polishing, waxing, etc.

Any time you apply something that large, it's not anything that anyone outside of a professional film installer would want to take on.

If it's real CF that has been applied, it's sun resistance would depend on a UV clearcoat to protect it. Otherwise, after a year or two, it would start to bubble and warp from the heat of the sun. I've seen cheap CF hoods do that. But again, it all depends on the quality of the application and materials.

I'm sure the OP can tell you more info. But these are just some basics.
