What's this? No wheel lock key provided on a new car?

Wow, I've just found out that BMW does not provide a wheel lock key w/ a new car purchase.

I had a RFT failure, ordered new tires, and now it's sitting in my garage. My local indy ( A 'P' car guy) will install the tires for me, but I need to buy a key to remove the wheels.

This should be against the law in my opinion.

Dad bought the car new and we have everything provided so it wasn't a used car purchase.

Looks like it will sit in the garage for another week until I can get this sorted out.

I thought I'd inform you all if in case you did not know . . . . .

Buy a key BEFORE you need one.

Regards,
