Old thread! But for those wondering this same thing... I just put my weathertech matts in...and i noticed that if you leave the oem bmw matts underneath the weathertech...it definately catches the clutch!
I've taken it off and so far (first 5 minutes lol) it is not catching at all! We'll see if the head has anything to do with it for me :/
