After a little over a year of driving I have yet to ever hear the brakes squeal *knocks on wood*
I am also used to Brembo brakes as I had them for quite some time on my STi. You just cannot use the brakes lightly (read: barely riding the brakes when slowing down). It glazes the pads and removes the embedded pad material on the rotor which will make you have to bed them in again.
