Just a quick question about jacking up the car. I noticed that the hard-plastic jack points are pretty easy to damage if you try and use the trolley jack on them directly. Did you use an adaptor in between the jack and the car jack cup?? Just wondered as I plan to change the CDV next weekend.

I actually used an extra plastic floor tile between the jack and the plastic jack point on the car. After the job I actually had an impression on the plastic floor tile of the plastic jack point. However, I had no damage to the jack point on the car. I suppose using some wood would work also. The bad thing, is there is not a whole lot of clearance between the jack point on the car and the jack when its completly lowered.
