It's not that easy to mount inside the headlight with the 1 series. Besides, you open up a huge can of worms by doing so and the replacement is $2000. The LI jammer diodes are specific for mounting in the grille for BMWs (at least the option for this group buy). I have seen guys mount diodes inside the headlights but they were e46s.
