If BMW doesn't put the ///M badge on, then there shouldn't be one. It's like buying a suit, maybe even a really nice one, but then stitching a Hugo Boss label on it. Way to poseur.
As for taking off the 135i, I don't have an issue either way. Looks very clean without it, but it also looks like something is missing.
