I am in a similar situation to you...I am in a k04 mk6 right now, looking at 135's
with my personal addiction to modding and turbo cars, i couldn't settle for a 128 haha...but you being able to keep the easily tunable gti stock, the 128i is a better performer in completely stock form if thats what you are looking for.
