I just love posts like this where it clearly shows two different mind sets.
I agree that this car my never be a money car. I also think that to get you time use of money out of it it will need to be 70 years old and a bubble car, but I do believe there is a beauty in keeping what BMW made as they made it. Once you start screwing around with it, it's easy to screw it up!
I saw a 1956 BMW the other day that BMW Zentum paid $1.2 mil for. It's special and nice but your stock 1M would make this car it's bitch! Not sure what the point is, but I like my 1M the way it is.
