I use the UPS Customer pickup counter in Bellingham WA. Most times the Canada Customs wave you through the border crossing if the amount is under $200, so you will save HST/GST. And I can fill up with gasoline and save about 25% on the tankful to make up for the trip. If travel to the USA is not possible. ask the shipper to use US Postal Service. It takes a little longer but you will save on the brokerage fees, as Canada Post only charges $10 or so. You will still have to pay HST/GST,
