Who would have thought, I had my 128i in the shop for several warranty repairs and got a new 2012 528i as a loaner.
Wow, I am impressed. The acceleration is strong, I think even better than on my AA tuned 128i, and most impressive was the gas milage. On the mostly highway ride from NY to Baltimore I got 35mpg, and that with pretty normal driving, no slow gas saving driving at all.
Don't get me wrong I love my 6cyl, but they did a fine job, just hope the turbo and all other issues coming with it, are solved. If so, I will get it if the next 1er or 2er becomes available. Lots of power and awesome gas milage, can't beat it.
