Not to mention weight and price.
E46 M3 exhausts were generally 70%-150% more expensive than E36 M3 ones, all because of the dual-muffler designs...
So if you want to pay around $1300-1500 for a dual muffler exhaust, I'm sure there will be companies out there which will accomodate you. Me, I'd rather pay $600-800 for a single muffler...
